Dr. Lasha-Giorgi Esebua is a dual-fellowship–trained Interventional Pain Physician specializing in advanced neuromodulation and minimally invasive spine interventions. He completed his Pain Medicine fellowship at Wake Forest University and his Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship at the University of Nevada, Reno. During his training, Dr. Esebua had the privilege of learning from pioneers in the field—including Drs. Richard Rauck, Leonardo Kapural, James North, and David Gilmore—whose contributions helped define modern interventional pain management.
Dr. Esebua practices at a high-volume tertiary pain center, where he performs more than 300 advanced procedures and surgical interventions each year. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Esebua serves as Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He is actively engaged in teaching, research and scholarly work, contributing to book chapters, peer-reviewed publications, and ongoing clinical studies.
